JJanay M. James is a dynamic booking and brand manager with a multifaceted career spanning independent client bookings, brand partnerships, community service, and wellness initiatives. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Sports Management from Hampton University and began her career as an intern at a sports marketing agency in Philadelphia, PA, specializing in public relations, non-profit organizations, and events, working with renowned athletes like Michael Vick and Thaddeus Young.
Janay pursued further education abroad at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, earning her Master's Degree in Global Entertainment and Music Business. During her time in Europe, Janay showcased her DJing skills and served as a label manager and A&R at Disrupción Records, an in-house record label at Berklee.
Throughout her career, Janay has ventured into various facets of the entertainment industry, including talent management, luxury brand event production, music label administration, and performance bookings. Notably, one of Janay's clients, Mariah Jasmine, a choreographer who has worked with artists such as PartyNextDoor, Ice Spice, Flo Milli, Chloe Bailey, and many more, received nominations for 2 MTV Video Music Awards in 2023 for Performance of the Year for Ice Spice’s 'Dirty Diana' and Flo Milli’s 'Conceited'.
Janay is a proud Philadelphia native and dedicated Philly fan with a deep love for sports. Currently working with the Baltimore Ravens’ 2024 1st round draft pick, Nate Wiggins, Janay enjoys working on philanthropic partnerships for athletes, their non-profit organizations, and community events.
Janay is spearheading wellness programming through her organization, Rejuvenate Ya Soul. As a certified Reiki practitioner with a focus on breath work to release trauma, sound therapy, meditation, aura cleansing, and chakra balancing, Janay is dedicated to enhancing the mental, physical, and spiritual health of those who need it most.
Her talents are infinite, her passion is pure, and she always moves with integrity ensuring commitment to those that she serves.
